With the passage of the IRS forced-compliance health care bill against wide opposition by the people, on top of all of the other issues we are facing today - economic takedown by greed in financial institutions (people opposed, bailout bill passed), climate change/cap and trade scam (people oppose, still pushing legislation to pass it), illegal immigration through open border policy leading to amnesty bill (people oppose, still pushing legislation to pass it), etc... these three paragraphs from W. Cleon Skousen's book "The Naked Capitalist" are even more true today than when they were written 30 years ago in 1970. To quote Alphonse Karr, "the more things change, the more they are the same."

"The current tactic is to create revolution, violence and extremely serious social dislocation at the bottom while creating ever-increasing pressure at the top for monolithic power by demanding that the executive branch of the Federal government be given massive power to "solve" all these problems. These demands are made in the form of proposed "social legislation" involving the expenditure of billions upon billions each year. Experience is teaching us, of course, that the dissipation of all this wealth has NOT been solving our problems. It has merely permitted the Establishment to use these tremendous resources to build up its machine of well-paid Establishment lackeys and reward their abject obedience with fabulous salaries for loyalty carrying out the policies and dictates of the Global Establishment on practically every dimension of the Federal government." (pages 113 and 114)

"Actually the Republican and conservative Democrats might take a hard look at the possibility of remaking the Republican Party into a genuine, American Constitutionalist Party and openly challenging the whole fabric of Left-wing betrayal regardless of whether it has been from Democrats or Republicans. At least, by restructuring the Republican Party it could be a place where men and women of honest convictions could rally without being betrayed by the Establishment's pseudo-Republicans." (page 121)

"Some have felt the necessity for pushing for a third, independent party and eventually this may be the only recourse. At the moment, however, and due to the shortness of time, it would appear more practical to restructure the traditional "conservative" party as a genuine hard-hitting defender of American institutions and American values and come out in the open for international cooperation while vigorously opposing international consolidation. It could be a party for responsible fiscal policies, the protection of property rights, the elimination of confiscatory taxation, the disengagement from international intrigue. It could be the means of restoring the people's confidence in the processes of representative government by providing more men and women of genuine integrity in the courts and other stations of public service." (page 121)

It should be noted Skousen used the term "Establishment" to refer to the "Eastern Establishment" that grew out of John Ruskin's "idea." John Ruskin was the Oxford professor who believed the state must take control of the means of production and distribution and organize them for the good of the community. Ruskin's ideology goes back to Plato, he is reported to have read Plato's The Republic almost daily. One of his students, Cecil Rhodes (Rhodes Scholarship) started to make Ruskin's dream a reality. Cecil Rhodes created a secret society that included Alfred Milner among others. Milner later created the Round Table Organization, which expanded into "Royal Institute for International Affairs (RIIA)" in England, the "Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)" in the United States, and the "Institute for Pacific Relations" in Asia. Groups such as the "Bilderbergers", "Trilateral Commission" and even the United Nations are all part of the same umbrella. Heavily financed by the European and American banking dynasties and some early American Industrialists, the policies of these groups have been carried out over the years through high-level positions in government (pressure at the top) and by using tax-free foundations (Rockefeller, Ford, Carnegie) to finance what passes for "social causes" (dislocation at the bottom).

I can only imagine what laws will be passed or what new invasive technology will be released to protect us now that one deranged individual decided to fly a plane into an office building in protest of all the injustices in his life. His letter calls for violence and states it is the only answer. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT THE ANSWER! I hope and pray that this does not lead to violence and the further breakdown of our society. If it does, you can take it to the bank that what's left of your personal freedom will be gone - for your safety of course. I don't know about you, but I would prefer to be free and take my chances. I can't claim to know the truth about this matter because there are too many unanswered questions and evidence gaps on both sides of the argument. I would have to agree with Debra in that there is simply not enough concrete evidence to suggest the official story is completely true or that the conspiracy theory is completely true. Any reasonable person has to ask themselves, "Why are there so many unanswered questions?" The same reasonable person would also most likely believe there is no way our government would carry out such an attack and harm its citizens on purpose. One thing is certain, "the government" is a very broad term and seems to be used very loosely on this issue.

We had a huge victory against the never ending onslaught of lies being thrown at us in pursuit of a worldwide tyrannical agenda. Thank goodness these emails were shared with the world so everyone can see what many so called "climate change deniers" have been saying all along. Man is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a significant cause of global warming and the science that supports this idea is garbage. We have always had and always will have climate changes, why do you think we need weathermen? Climate change is caused by the sun and natural earth events like volcanos. Are you an Er?

To "Er" is to ridicule or belittle an opposing point of view by creating a derogatory label that is used to silence opposition by means of humiliation. Note, the definition of "er" states that it is an interjection used to represent hesitation or uncertainty. Great term to demonize opposing points of view and avoid question, don't you think? This technique has been dormant for some time since "Bircher" first appeared, but has recently picked up steam after "Truther" has been so effective over the last several years.

Some of the most notable Ers include:

Birchers (aka JBSers) - est. 1958 (members of the John Birch Society who oppose a communist takeover of the United States)

Truthers - est. 2004 (people who question the accuracy of the 9/11 Commission Report and generally seek to understand the truth behind world events)

Birthers - est. 2008 (people who question the legitimacy of Barack Obama's U.S. citizenship and presidency based on his unwillingness to show an original birth certificate)

Deathers - est. 2009 (people who question provisions of the Obama/Pelosi healthcare bill regarding bureaucratic panels that will dictate care)

912ers - est. 2009 (people who believe in one or more of Glenn Beck's 9 principles and 12 values)

Tenthers - est. 2009 (people who believe in the 10th amendment which states powers not granted to the federal government are reserved for the states and the people)

Beckers - est. 2009 (people who watch Glenn Beck's TV show or listen to his radio program)

Teabaggers - est. 2009 (participants in the Tea Party Movement who believe in fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government and free markets)

Notice a trend? It seems like liberals really like this technique, doesn't it? What if conservatives were to jump on the Er bandwagon in response to being labeled the vile sexual term "teabagger" by labeling liberals "Salad Tossers?" A "Salad Tosser" could be defined as a liberal who: (1) is green and believes the earth is heading for cataclysmic environmental changes due to human activity, or (2) promotes vegetarianism and the complete abolition of meat, or (3) belongs to a bureaucracy or community organization in which the only way to advance is through the act of brown-nosing. You have to admit this term would be a pretty good description for at least some liberals. If you lean to the left and have used the term teabagger, how would it feel to be called a Salad Tosser for what you believe? I cannot imagine it would make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Those of you who do not yet know the foul definitions of "teabagger" and "salad tosser" try typing in "teabagger" and "tossed salad" at Wikipedia. It's funny how the liberal media has yet to figure out the teabaggers are the position of dominance. What does that make them, teabaggees? Ask yourself: Is there anything inherently wrong with the word Birth? No (sorry eugenicist), but add "er" to the end and you have a group of crazy, hellbent conspiracy theorists, right? There's no evidence exists to support what these wackos believe, right? Not exactly! Let me let you in on a little secret: the reason why the so-called "Ers" are outraged is the fact that those in media (and those in power) completely refuse to address legitimate questions. Believe me, with a little research you will learn that these Ers have some very legitimate questions that need to be answered. There are literally thousands of websites asking very simple questions about world events that are completely ignored by the mainstream media. If a network personality does begin to pose some of these questions (like Lou Dobbs or Glenn Beck), what happens? Well, Lou Dobbs gets shot at and canned. Time will only tell where Glenn Beck will end up, but in the meantime he has been tagged an Er.

So why go through the effort to continually dodge questions and label those asking as some sort of "Er" rather than simply providing adequate answers to the questions posed? If questions were answered truthfully, there would be no more pesky Ers left to deal with. Why not have a public debate on the issues and let the people decide? I have yet to see a debate on any mainstream media outlet where Ers were given an opportunity to pose their questions and debate their claims. It seems like this would be preferrable to coming up with label after label and ignoring questions, doesn't it?

One trait shared among most all Ers is that they are critical think-ers. They question at least one side of the official, state-sanctioned reality. More knowledgeable Ers question both sides. If you are a conservative think-er and watch liberal media (MSNBC), do you believe their spin on the days events? Of course not. If you are a liberal think-er and watch conservative media (FOX), do you believe their spin? Surely, you don't believe Beck or Hannity, do you?

Ask yourself: Do different media outlets have a particular slant to what they are presenting to you as news? Does the same story on different networks often carry very different meanings? Thus, are people living in different realities based on their choice of programming? You might want to know the word program is defined as a plan of action to accomplish a specified end. Why are all television shows called programs? Doesn't a computer program simply follow the instructions it is given? What is the specified end they are trying to accomplish? Is it possible that there could be another angle on the news? If liberal media declines to report on some issues and conservative media declines to report on others, is it possible that both sides are not reporting on news that is fundamentally important to your well-being?

In case you didn't know, all major U.S. news outlets are controlled by only a handful of companies. Do you think they have your best interest at heart? Would they rather provide a forum for honest debate or keep everyone in the dark and profit from the public's ignorance? Who's connecting the dots on stories that just do not seem to logically make sense? This is where the Ers come in to try to make sense of things by thinking outside the box and drawing logical conclusions based on the available evidence and information. If you are an independent think-er and question the official line of your state-sanctioned media, you will most likely be labeled some kind of Er. It's just not PC to question what your sold ...excuse me, told.

If you ever decide to think for yourself and draw your own conclusions, you should know truth comes at a price. After doing your own research and exercising critical thought, you should know that as soon as you feel “sure” about an issue, someone will probably try to reverse your thinking by labeling you an Er.

This has to be the most under-reported event of the week. Why has all mainstream US news outlets decided to completely ignore this story?

There is a massive outbreak of a seemingly more serious form of the swine flu (OR SOMETHING ELSE!) going on in Ukraine.

Lindsey Williams has provided very accurate info in the past, this was from at October or earlier 2007 (when gas was around $3/gallon). In this video, he guarantees gas will be $4 to $5 per gallon in the very near future (which happened earlier this year). He's was on Stan Monteif's show a couple of weeks ago (when oil was close to $150/barrel - now around $125) so saying that the plan now is to drive oil down to $50 per barrel to break the Middle East oil producing countries so they would dump the US dollar that's been financing our debt, force a deep devaluation of the USD and use it as an opportunity to bring in a new world currency (not the Amero as we've heard about for years). He said they would be able to drive down prices by turning up two yet unannounced oil fields - one in Russia and one in Indonesia -- both of these fields supposedly have more oil than the entire Middle East countries combined (as does Alaska) ---guess we can listen for this announcement in mainstream media in the near future. Also said nothing would be done in the US (Alaska or offshore). Seems to be a pretty reliable source, as always could be a plant as well.
