Weekly Roundup

This article is a MUST READ. The more you look into the Capitalist v. Socialist debate, the more you realize the end is the same -- serfdom. It seems to depend less and less on the purity of the system and more and more on the purity of the people that have made it to the top of the business world (Capitalism) or to the top of governmental/non-governmental bureaucracies (Socialism). It is true that Capitalism is the purest, most free form of economic system that our minds have been able to devise up to this point. The problem is greed and the desire for power that drives today's Capitalists will lead the mass majority to the same outcome as greedy power hungry Socialists.

BP Oil Spill

A good friend sent me a link to this video series on Youtube. I highly recommend watching it to get a different perspective the catastrophe.

The BP Oil Spill Chronicles

As described by the creator of the video: Full documentary that chronicles the events that lead up to the BP Oil Spill, exposing the hidden agenda regarding the sales of stock by BP and Goldman Sachs, the media blackout, the poisonous toxic chemicals used by BP to clean up the spill, and the negative effects it is having on our lives, and shows the natural process of bioremediation that can stop this crisis. It also exposes the way that the Federal Government, BP, and Goldman Sachs are using the crisis to push through Cap and Trade, which they all support and wrote together.

No oil leaking into Gulf from busted well is now being reported, but why no mention of 100 foot rift leaking methane and oil miles from the wellhead.

Years from now, once (if) this crisis is ever resolved, we will look back in even greater horror at allowing an insider designed (BP included) Cap and Trade Bill to pass because of this disaster. As Rahm Emmanuel said "Rule 1: Never allow a crisis to go to waste. Its an opportunity to do big things."
